Bio

SCEPTRE THE SERVANT — also known as Dwayne Handfield — is a Brooklyn, New York–based Christian recording artist, singer-songwriter, worship leader, music director, and multi-talented instrumentalist with a heart for one thing: leading people into the presence of God through music.

For most of his adult life, Dwayne has been singing, leading praise and worship, and ministering through music. Whether his voice is lifting a congregation or his trumpet is carrying the melody, Sceptre the Servant brings a dynamic and heartfelt expression of worship wherever he ministers.

His journey as a recording artist began with the release of his debut single, “Blessings,” on March 17, 2023—a song created to encourage, uplift, and remind listeners of the goodness and faithfulness of God.

On Friday, August 21, 2026, Sceptre the Servant celebrated another milestone in his musical and ministry journey with the release of his new single, “At the Name of Jesus,” unveiled at his album release party. This powerful new release continues his passion for creating music that speaks to the heart, strengthens faith, inspires worship, and points people back to Jesus.

“At the Name of Jesus” is an invitation to recognize the power, authority, and glory found in the name above every name. Through this new release, Sceptre desires to encourage listeners to draw closer to God, deepen their faith, and worship with a renewed understanding of who Jesus is.

As Sceptre the Servant continues to grow as an artist and minister, his music remains more than entertainment—it is ministry with a message. Every song is an opportunity to testify, encourage, worship, and give God the glory.

Sceptre the Servant’s mission is simple:

To minister through the Gospel until Shiloh comes.

Listen. Worship. Be encouraged.

Support the ministry. Share the music. And join the journey.
